Sandoyartunnilin 10.800 meters

El-Service has started the work on Sandoyartunnilin.

For Eysturoyartunnilin, El-Service worked under Roxel, but for Sandoyartunnilin, Roxel is not involved.

El-Service therefore stands as a total supplier of all electrical equipment, technical equipment and emergency equipment. However, it is KJ Hydraulik that supplies the pumps, while El-Service supply controlsystem for the pump systems.

The equipment and material will mostly be of the same type as for the Eysturoyartunnilin.

Testing of emergency equipment (FAT) will again be carried out at El-Service, as we are the supplier of all technical equipment, fiber network, the SCADA system and other sub-systems.

Work on the pump systems has already started and we will soon gain access to the tunnel space itself.

According to the planning, the work must be completed by the end of 2023.
