Jákup Sverri - updating the RSW system

Back in 2020, when the Research Vessel Jákup Sverri was built on the MEST Shipyard in Skála, El-Service delivered the automation for the RSW system. The equipment for the RSW system was delivered by KMS.

The owners wanted some changes made to the control system of the compressors, as well as other small changes regarding system stability.

The updates are now complete and the system has become more stable. Automation of the 6 cooling compressors has been optimized and that the system is now better to cope with the large cooling capacity.
