Nýborg

On January 5, the fishing Vessel Nyborg, had an accident at sea. Seawater came in to the Bridge and down below, all the way to the Engine Control Room and Accommodation. Nyborg was originally named Gitte Henning, which we were the main supplier of all electrical equipment on. It was built at Karstensen Shipyard in Skagen back in year 2000. The work to renovate the ship becomes very extensive. The major areas that El-Service will renovate are:

• All manouvering equipment

• Alarm System

• Fire Alarm System

• Light Installation

Together with El-Service, it will be mostly Radiobúðin and Articon which will be responsible for the deliveries. The work is expected to be completed in March.
