Sumbiartunnilin
The Public Road Administration in Faroe Islands "Landsverk" has chosen El-Service to do the safety upgrade on Sumbiartunnilin. Sumbiartunnilin was drilled finnish in 1997, but there where no lights or safety equipment installed. The tunnel is 3.200 meters long.
The work will be done in stages. The first stage will contain equipment for mobile connection and some basic safety equipment.
This is the fifth tunnel project that El-Service is involved in, and is total supplier of all electrical and SCADA system. This projects is placing El-Service far a head of our competitors in tunnel systems in the Faroe Islands.
